Seneca thrower Brock Pendergraft and Webb City long distance runner Brooke Hedger have been named the Zimmer Marketing Male and Female Athlete of the Week brought to you by JL Mobile Truck and Trailer Repair.
Pendergraft, a junior, set the Seneca school record at the 2025 Bordertown Relays in the javelin with a throw of 49.53 meters to take first place by more than six meters. He also added a first-place finish in the discus with a toss of 45.75.
Hedger, a junior, has had a strong start to the season. At the 2025 Glendale Girls Night Out event, Hedger crossed the finishing line in first place twice. She won the 800-meter run in a time of two minutes, 17.69 seconds. She also added a first-place time of 5:04.27 in the 1600.
“Brooke is a hardworking, sweet and dedicated kid," Webb City coach Dustin Miller said. "She has big goals this season and is on her way to achieving them."
