PREP BASEBALL: Carl Junction, Webb City earn mid-week wins

Seneca scored four times in the first inning to take control only for Carl Junction to rally with six runs in the top of the seventh inning on the way to a come-from-behind win on Wednesday.

Brayden Larey had two hits, three RBI and scored a run, while Craig Hayes and Cooper Vediz each had a hit and scored a run for the Bulldogs.

Drew Sherwood had two hits, two RBI and scored twice, while Asher Prater had a hit and three RBI for the Indians. 

WEBB CITY 10, WAYNESVILLE 0

Webb City scored three times in the first inning to take control and led 7-0 by the end of three frames en route to the win.

Karsen Myers had three hits and scored twice. Luke Berverlin had two hits, drove in two, walked twice and scored a run.

Cohen Epler pitched 2 2/3 innings to earn the win. He allowed one hit, walked one and struck out seven.
