ROGERSVILLE, Mo. — Rogersville scored three times in the bottom of the fifth inning to rally past Webb City on Friday.
The loss is the first of the year for the Cardinals, who are 1-1 on the season.
Tate Lewis took the loss in relief for Webb City after allowing one run on a hit and a walk to go along with three strikeouts in 1.2 innings. Landon Fletcher started and took a no-decision after allowing four runs, two earned, on two hits, two walks and eight strikeouts in 4.1 innings of work.
Cohen Epler doubled, scored once and drove in two runs to lead the Cardinals at the plate.
CARTHAGE 8, FORT OSAGE 4
Carthage scored six times in the fifth inning to fuel a win over Fort Osage on Saturday.
Taylor Stevens-Diggs and Blayne Lilienkamp each drove in a run on an infield hit, four more runs coming in on free passes.
Landon West doubled and drove in two. Jordan Brunnert doubled, drove in a run and scored.
HICKMAN 8, CARTHAGE 4
Hickman scored three times in the fifth inning and four more times in the sixth to beat Carthage Saturday afternoon.
The loss was the first of the season for the Tigers, who have a 2-1 record.
Taylor Stevens-Diggs had three hits and scored twice for Carthage, while Landon West had two hits for the Tigers. Blayne Lilienkamp had a hit and drove in a pair.
NEOSHO 12, ROSEMOUNT 0
Neosho scored five times in the first, three times in the second once in the third and three more times in the fourth to end the game in a five-inning win over Rosemount.
Liam McInturff doubled and drove in three, while Jaden Nichols had two hits, scored a run and drove in two for Neosho.
Brody Crane earned the win after allowing just one hit in five scoreless innings of work, striking out 14.
NEOSHO 12, MAINLAND 4
Neosho held a two-run lead before scoring six times in the sixth inning to beat Maineland on Saturday.
The six-run sixth was highlighted by an RBI double from Drake Jennings, a two-run single from Liam McInturrd and a pair of RBI singles from Finn Versluis and Jaden Nichols.
Nicholes had three hits, three RIB and two runs scored. Crane had three hits, two RBI and a run scored.
Versluis earned the win after allowing four runs, three earned, on five hits, four walks and four strikeouts in 3.2 innings.
MARS 6, NEOSHO 5
Mars tied the game with two runs in the fifth before adding the go-ahead run in the sixth inning on the way to a win over Neosho to wrap the Wildcats’ tourney play.
Finn Versluis had two hits, scored once and drove in a run to lead Neosho at the plate.
CARL JUNCTION 7, ENID 4
Carl Junction opened the season in the Edmond Tournament with a win over Enid.
Deacon Endicott earned the win on the bump after allowing four runs on five hits, two walks and nine strikeouts in 5.2 innings of work. Brody Pant earned the saved after allowing one hit and striking out two in 1.1 innings.
Endicott added a double at the plate and drove in two runs in the win. Pant added a hit and an RBI, while Braxten Jones had two hits, including a double, an RBI and scored twice for the Bulldogs.
EDMOND SANTA FE 7, CARL JUNCTION 2
Edmond Santa Fe got the better of Carl Junction in the Bulldogs’ second game of the tournament.
The Wolves used a three run third to rally and added on with four runs in the fifth inning to fuel the win.
Deacon Endicott had a hit and an RBI in the loss.
EDMOND MEMORIAL 19, CARL JUNCTION 5
Edmond Memorial took control with eight runs crossing him in the first, six more in the second, four additional in the third and one final run in the fourth en route to the five-inning win on Saturday.
Braxten Jones had a hit, scored twice and drove in a run for the Bulldogs.
ST JAMES ACADEMY 7, JOPLIN 1
St. James Academy scored six times in the fifth inning to break a tied game on the way to the win.
Layne Royle, David Bhend and Kutler Schwarting all had hits for Joplin.
Brecken Green started and took a no-decision after allowing one run on five hits and seven strikeouts in four innings.
ST JAMES ACADEMY 10, JOPLIN 0
St. James Academy scored three times in the third and fourth innings and added four runs in the sixth inning to end the game via run rule in six innings.
Layne Royle had two of Joplin’s four hits.
NEW HEIGHTS CHRISTIAN 13, SARCOXIE 7
Sarcoxie took an early lead before New Heights Christian rallied with seven runs in the first four innings before scoring six times late on the way to the win.
The Cougars led 7-6 when New Heights added four runs in the sixth and two more in the seventh to seal the victory on Friday.
Jayce Walker homered on the way to two hits, three runs scored and two RBI. Smoke Ezell had two hits, drove in three and scored once. Kaleb Kennedy had a hit and drove in two.
Ezell earned the win after allowing three runs on four hits with seven strikeouts in four innings of work.
SENECA 12, VINITA 4
Seneca trailed 4-0 early before scoring all 12 runs in the final four innings on the way to a win over Vinita on Friday in tournament play.
Grant Houchin earned the win on the hill after allowing four runs, one earned, on six hits, a walk and six strikeouts in six innings.
Drew Sherwood had four hits, including a triple and a double, three RBI and scored a run to lead the Indians at the plate. Jager Wilson doubled, drove in two and scored a run.
SENECA 8, COLUMBUS 0
Seneca hung four runs in the first inning and never looked back in a win over Columbus on Friday.
The Indians added a run in the second and fifth, while plating two more in the sixth inning.
Drew Sherwood earned the win after scattering four hits, walking four and striking out nine in six scoreless innings.
Hagen Ginger led Seneca at the plate with three hits and four RBI, while Asher Prater had two hits, including a double, and two RBI.
SENECA 9, RIVERTON 0
Seneca took advantage with a bevy of runs early and held Riverton scoreless in a win to wrap tourney play on Saturday.
The Indians pushed across three runs in the first, two in the second before sealing the win with a four-run fourth.
Jager Wilson earned the win after allowing one hit, four walks and striking out 12 in four scoreless innings.
Jagger Wilson had two hits and scored three runs, while Drew Sherwood had a hit and three RBI.
