Joplin closed out the Bill Hanson Memorial Tournament with a 65-28 win over Wichita West.

The Eagles held a 10-point lead after the first quarter and continued to play add-on throughout the remainder of the contest.

"We got off to a solid start this afternoon and did a good job of keeping them out of the paint in the first quarter,” Joplin coach Nick Pfeifer said. “I also thought we did a nice job sharing the ball and our action was effective at getting us opportunities around the basket. I am pleased with the way we responded after a disappointing performance yesterday.”

Four Joplin players finished in double figures, with Brecken Green, Fred Taylor and Aiden Scourten all scoring 12 points, and Cooper Williams finishing with 10.
