This week's Zimmer Marketing’s Male and Athlete of the Week brought to you by JL Mobile Truck and Trailer Repair are Carthage basketball player Kruz Castor and Webb City basketball player Addie Burnes.

Castor was named the tournament Harrison Tournament MVP after averaging 10.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and five assists per contest. Even more impressively, Castor played in all 96 minutes of action for the Tigers.

“Kruz showed his true leadership through the three games in Harrison,” Carthage coach Nathan Morris said. He continued to be our team’s best defender while averaging 10 points and leading us in assists a few games.”

Burns averaged 12 points, 4.3 rebound and 1.1 steals per game on the way to being named to the all-tournament team while helping to lead the Cardinals to a second-place finish in the Neosho Holiday Classic.

“In the Holiday tournament, we faced three very physical and skilled teams,” Webb City coach Grant Berendt said. “Addie rose to the challenge each time we played.”
