Here is a look at this week’s matchups:


CLASS 6 DISTRICT 5

(2) Joplin at (1) Nixa

Joplin enters the matchup as the second seed with a 7-3 record on the season. Joplin, coming off a 21-7 win over Kickapoo, is averaging 29 points per game, while giving up 23 per contest.

Nixa is the top seed with a 10-0 record on the season and is averaging 46 points a game, while giving up just nine. Nixa is coming off a 35-8 win over Ozark.

CLASS 5  DISTRICT 7

(1) Carthage vs (3) Webb City

Carthage is the top seed with a 9-1 record and is coming off a 35-14 win over Neosho. The Tigers are scoring 35 points a game and giving up 16 points per game. 

Webb City is the third seed with a 5-6 record and is coming off a 21-9 win over Grain Valley. The Cardinals are averaging 27 points per game and allowing 21 per game to opposing offenses. 


CLASS 3 DISTRICT 6 

(1) Seneca vs (2) Forsyth

Seneca is the top seed with a 10-0 record and is coming off a 41-6 win over Aurora. The Indians are scoring 52 points per game, while allowing just 12 points a game on defense. 

Forsyth is the second seed with a 7-4 record and is coming off a 31-28 win over East Newton last week. The Panthers are averaging 33 points per game, while allowing 22 points on the defensive end. 

DISTRICT 7

(1) Strafford vs. (2) Mount Vernon

(1) Warsaw vs (2) Lamar
