Carl Junction defeats Rogers in four sets

Carl Junction stayed perfect on the season with a 25-20, 19-25, 25-22 and 25-22 win over Aurora on Monday.

The win gives the Bulldogs a perfect 10-0 record. 

Karissa Chase led Carl Junction with 23 kills, while DeShaye Buerge and Maddy Huffman each had nine kills. 

Jadyn Howard finished with 43 assists and Jocelyn Wengert had 34 digs.

Caitlyn Kennedy added two blocks and Halleigh Huffman had three aces. 

Carl Junction hosts Branson next Tuesday.


New Heights Christian sweeps Purdy

New Heights Christian Academy volleyball made quick work of the Purdy, sweeping the Eagles in three sets 25-13, 25-11 and 25-12.

Caitlyn Meppelink finished with 18 service points, including six aces, 25 assists and one block assist. 

Lydia Hipple had 16 service points with four aces and one block assist. 

Lilly Plassman had 14 service points with four aces, two assists and 15 digs. 

Toryn Fink had six kills and six digs, while Ava Lett had eight kills.

Allie Stout closed with seven kills and 10 digs .

NHCA is at Jasper tonight.

In other area scores, Thomas Jefferson lost to Lockwood in five sets 23-25, 16-25, 25-19, 25-19 and 13-15.
