CARL JUNCTION 14, SENECA 5

SENECA, Mo. — Carl Junction had a four-run inning in the first and fourth innings and three-run innings in the third and sixth innings. 

Kiley Spencer earned the win in the circle after allowing five runs on seven hits with seven strikeouts in seven innings of work.

Callie Rhoades took the loss after allowing 10 runs on six hits and five walks in 3 1/3 innings.

Spencer added four hits at the plate, including two doubles, scored four runs and drove in two. Jazmyne Blaney had three hits, including a triple, three RBI and scored a run. Ryleigh Palmer also had three hits and scored three runs. 

Rhoades homered twice in the loss for Seneca. She drove in three and scored twice.

Carl Junction hosts Branson today. 


CARTHAGE 2, CASSVILLE 1

Lottie Youngblood singled home the winning run in the bottom of the eighth inning to send Carthage home with a thrilling win.

Addie Wallace earned the win after allowing one run on three hits on six hits in three innings in a complete eight innings of work.

Youngblood had three hits in the win, driving in both runs for Carthage. She also drove in a run with a bunt single earlier in the game.

Carthage hosts Nixa today.
