WEBB CITY SWEEPS LEBANON

WEBB CITY, Mo. — Webb City swept Lebanon in three sets on Thursday by the scores of 25-19, 27-25 and 25-19.

The win moves the Cardinals to 3-2 on the season with a spot in the Hillcrest Tournament coming up this weekend.

Jaeli Rutledge led the way with 15 kills, six digs and three blocks. Savannah Crane had 40 assists and 11 digs. Mia Lenker had nine kills, three aces and 12 digs on defense. Kirra Long had six kills and 10 digs, while Jaylee VanBecelaere had six kills and 19 digs.


NEW HEIGHTS BETS SARCOXIE IN FIVE

New Heights Christian Academy earned a thrilling five-set win 26-24, 23-25, 25-20, 19-25 and 15-12 over Sarcoxie on Thursday.

The win evens the Cougars’ record at 2-2 with NHCA hosting Purdy on Monday. 

Caitlyn Meppelink finished with 45 assists and 17 service points, while  Toryn Fink had 16 kills, 17 digs, 13 service points and two aces. 

Lydia Hipple had 13 kills and a pair of blocks, while Allie Stout closed with 30 digs, 20 service points and Lilly Plassman finished with 46 digs, 25 service points and five aces.
