CARTHAGE BEATS KICKAPOO IN FIVE
CARTHAGE, Mo. — Carthage hosted Kickapoo in Central Ozark Conference action and came away with a 25-22, 25-21, 12-25, 22-25 and 15-9 win over the Chiefs.
The win improves the Tigers’ record to 8-3, 3-0 COC.
Jaidyn Brunnert finished with 23 assists, 13 digs and seven kills. Millie Templeman had 10 kills and five digs, while Peyton Ray finished with six kills and two aces.
London Shepherd had 16 kills, three blocks and six digs. Elsie Willis had 11 kills, 16 digs and two aces, while Briley Jadwin had 12 assists and three digs.
Carthage is on the road for a matchup at Ozark on Tuesday.
CARL JUNCTION SWEEPS AURORA
AURORA, Mo. — Carl Junction went on the road and swept Aurora 25-11, 25-16 and 25-18.
Carl Junction improves to 8-0 on the season with the win.
Karissa Chase led the team with 16 kills, while DeShaye Buerge had 10 kills. Jadyn Howard had four aces and 36 assists, while Jocelyn Wengert closed with 18 digs.
Carl Junction is back in action on Saturday at Springfield Catholic.
