Neosho girls tennis secures win over Aurora

The Neosho girls tennis team claimed an impressive 8-1 victory over Aurora in their latest match, showcasing strong performances in both singles and doubles play.

Singles Recap:

In No. 1 singles play, Emma VanDorn defeated Brianna Henson 8-4, while Francisca Ruiz defeated Esmeralda Botello 8-5 in No. 2 singles. In no. 3 singles, Keely Keeton forfeited to Jaydn Venable after leading 4-3 due to an ankle injury.

In No. 4 singles, Chloe Standefer defeated Verin Shirley 8-3 and Hailey Standefer defeated Lilyana Newbold 8-6 in five singles.

In No. 6 singles, Ari Cuellar defeated Sikenan Boettler 8-4.

In No. 1 doubles action,  VanDorn/Keeton defeated Henson/Botello 8-6, while Ruiz/C. Standefer defeated Venable/Shirley 8-4 in No. 2 doubles. 

H. Standefer/Cuellar defeated Newbold/Boettler 8-2 in No. 3 doubles.

With this victory, Neosho improves to 1-4 overall and 0-3 in conference play.
